Google Merchant Center Monitoring
In GMC Protect, monitoring means periodic and ticket-driven reviews of the stores you add, the public website, and Merchant Center information you share. It is not a live tap into Google’s private systems.
GMC Protect is an independent Google Merchant Center compliance support service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or part of Google LLC or General Motors.
What monitoring includes

- Warnings and screenshots you send on tickets
- Merchant Center diagnostics when you grant access
What it is not
- Not access to Google’s unpublished enforcement algorithms
- Not a replacement for your own Merchant Center notifications
How reviews are done
Reviews are combined: some checks are systematic (URLs and policy pages), and diagnosis of account issues is manual. Cadence is confirmed during assessment.
